Ashleigh is a qualified North Canterbury artist. Ashleigh began her Bachelor of applied visual arts at Ara Institute of Canterbury (CPIT) in 2012 and graduated in 2014 with an additional FRIENDS of the Christchurch Art Gallery Scholarship for excellence in studies at Ara Institute of Canterbury. Ashleigh has successfully exhibited works in multiple group shows in New Zealand and is a member of Arts Canterbury in Christchurch, Rangiora Art Society and Ashburton Art Society.

All throughout Ashleigh's high school years, she achieved highly through her art subjects earning the Daly trophy for excellence in Visual Arts, Art history - Walters Memorial Prize and an achievement of Excellence in painting, and photography through 2008-2011. Most recently Ashleigh has won Best in Show 2023 – Rangiora Art Society Spring Exhibition.

Ashleigh has an ongoing passion for portraiture with a specialisation in intaglio and sculpture through her studies. As Ashleigh has been pursuing her career as a full time artist, She has been further experimenting with oil on panel, Ashleigh aims to create intimate portraits of those who inspire her artistic journey.
